 At Coutts & Company we are strongly committed to supporting coffee growing regions. As such, we are supporters of the Guatemala Stove Project. On an on-going basis, Coutts & Company donates funds to the project for building stoves. In addition, Al Teflissi (co-owner of Coutts & Company) volunteers to travel to Guatemala to help build the stoves. At right, Al is pictured with one of the grateful Mayan families for whom he built a stove. |
 COOPERATIVE COFFEES : We are now a member of Cooperative Coffees (cooperativecoffees.com) sourcing all our beans directly from farmers' cooperatives in coffee growing countries, providing better pricing to the farmers, and helping them to improve their farming practices as well as their living conditions.
All coffees we offer (as beans or beverages) are Fair Trade and Organic and sourced by our cooperative. We sell our coffees at our two retail locations, Coutts & Company Coffeehouse located at 17 Wilson Street East, 613-267-3713 and Factory Grind Bistro Cafe, located at 1 Sherbrooke St. 613-264-3330 (both in Perth, Ontario). At the Factory Grind, we also offer light meals prepared fresh in our kitchen from healthy ingredients. Store hours: at Coutts: Mon-Fri 7-5:30, Sat. 9-5:30, and Sun. 10-5.
